WHO WE ARE 

We are a family run organization that pays great attention to detail.  The Experience was founded by Suzanne Coulston and her husband Steve.  Suzanne comes from a strong restaurant background and has been a restaurant spotter for  more than 3 years for Fred’s Mexican Cantina.  She also grew up in a family owned restaurant in Hawaii , where every item on the menu was made from scratch and the highest priority was customer return.  She has taken numerous culinary classes and worked in all capacities of the restaurant business.  Suzanne has also managed a successful cardiac diagnostic lab that serviced over five thousand doctors.   Steve Coulston has worked in many restaurants and catering businesses.  With a background in Private Events, Steve is currently the Membership Director at an exclusive Country Club in Orange County.  Steve and Suzanne have lived and dined in Orange County for over 15 years.    

THE EVALUATORS

We have professionally trained restaurant inspectors that can provide you with a typical customer experience for your restaurant.  Every member of our inspection team is either a friend or member of the family that has been trained to look for what your typical customer may experience.  You can select the type of shopper you would like to work with.  Our shoppers are as diverse as the restaurants in Orange County.

  We have shoppers who are single, married, with or without children.  We have retired affluent couples and singles as well.   The one thing all of our inspectors have in common is their love of food and The Experience that dining out can offer. 

MEET THE TEAM

Steve and Suzanne Coulston

Jim and Kendra-Jim and Kendra have extensive retaurant experince.  Jim has worked his way from Host to General Manager at a well-known family restaurant, and is now Clubhouse Manager at an exclusive Country Club.  He is currently working closely with the Food and Beverage department developing menus & training staff members.  Kendra has worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years.  She has worked in every area of the restaurant industry and has extensive knowledge in service.  Kendra has grown up in Laguna Niguel (32 years) and Jim has been in the San Diego / Orange County areas for 25 years. 

Dennis and Lina- Dennis and Lina are an affluent retired couple residing in Laguna Beach.  Lina was a restaurant owner for many years and worked as hostess/waitress/manager and everywhere in between as needed.  Dennis is a successful real estate investor and both of them appreciate the special experience that dining out can offer.
